Putin’s ex-wife’s villa seized in France – media

Previously, the Paris prosecutor’s office had already conducted searches at the villa.

The property is located in Anglet, near Biarritz, and belonged to Arthur Ocheretny, the husband of Putin’s ex-wife.

In December 2023, French law enforcement officers arrested the Riveri villa, which is associated with the ex-wife of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, Lyudmila Ocheretny. This was reported by the Challenges publication.

The villa belonged to Russian Arthur Ocheretny, the husband of Putin’s ex-wife, the media noted.

The property is located in Anglet, near Biarritz. Previously, the Paris prosecutor’s office had already conducted searches there.

The prosecutor’s office is also “targeting” the real estate of several oligarchs close to the Kremlin – Gennady Timchenko, the Rotenberg brothers and businessman Sergei Toni.

Villa Riveri was built in 1930. It was originally named Villa Suzanne in honor of the widow of a London banker who was its sponsor.

OCCRP notes that the 5,000 square meter property was purchased for 5.4 million euros by Artur Ocheretny in December 2013.

As we wrote earlier, a court in France has frozen ownership of the Irina Maria villa in the resort of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin (Côte d’Azur).
